HAHA Miao Xiang, it's Claudia!
Anyway, Claudia regarding the decision on the vice chairperson and chairperson for your CCA group, it is your decision and you have every right to put whoever you think is capable regardless of whether or not your teacher in charge shares the same opinion as you. Like what I said, just write down whoever you think has the potential of leading. No stress. In the end, if whoever you wrote really didn't become the vice chairperson/chairperson, then just forget it and move on. It's not that big of a matter after all. In the end, if that person who's selected is incapable of fulfilling his duty as a chairperson, she'd obviously be sacked.
I think what messes us up the most is we all have this perfect picture in our minds of how things should be. Just because today is a terrible day doesn't mean tomorrow might not be the best day of your entire life. You just have to wake up and get there. Maybe the best thing to do is to stop figuring out where we're going and just enjoy where we're at.
Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength. Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.
Quoted from Mahatma Ghandi, "A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes." If you keep thinking you'd fail, if you keep thinking you're a failure, or that no matter how many times you train you'd most definitely fail again, you'd obviously fail!
Have confidence and take pride in yourself.
What I believe in has always been that if you're happy, everything will slowly fall in place. If you don't believe it, try. It's not easy being happy that's why. But seriously, there's so much beauty(even though there are lots of destruction too) and there's so many things to be thankful for. (BTW, there's no tagboard because I find it pretty unneccessary and useless. Nobody's really using it anyway. So I replaced it with an archive session so we can check on past posts.)
Love, Sam.
