Hi!!!
Sry for the late reply but well... My results aren't as gd as u think. On the report bk, im no where near 10 cos of my common test results. :( But it's ok. I'll just work even harder to make up for the lousy score of my common test XD
Have any of u been to Marina Barrage before??? I went there this thurs and OMG it was so cool. The design and technologies used for the exhibition, the stimulated opening of the dams, and the beset of all, the roof top garden. The exhibition was like any other so i guess i dun have to elaborate much on wat we do at the exhibition. But the most interesting one was the roof top garden. There is a big field of solar panels on the roof top garden and it's very windy cos of the high altitude. Ppl were like flying kites and the one that caught my eye the most was the batman one. Quite a funny sight when u see it from below... A great big bat flying in the sky XD. But still, wat i enjoyed the most was playing in the fountain. Not as in those circle circle one but those resembling a shallow pool. A group of frens and i had taken off our shoes and went in to play in the water cos we couldn't resist the temptation of getting into the cooling water. Not that the little children and some other more appropriately dressed teenagers was helping us stay away. So we end up playin catchin in the water and getting our skirts and blouses wet. But not that wet cos as all of us noe the teacher would not be pleased bout it. XP We had lots of fun though our feets hurt from stepping on the floor full of small round pebbles.
Another thing that was fun this wk was national day performance. Each of the students was given a singapore flag and there were some extras. So some people who got hold of the extra flags started making short chains of flags. For us sec4s, the teacher got angry and took back all the extras. But the sec 2s and 1s started making an even longer chain, continually joing ing it to get it to the other end of the hall. The sec 5s and 3s joined in too. But they did one of their own. So in the end, it became somewhat like a competition. XD And at the end of the entire programme, the flag did stretch to the other end of the hall and the teachers finally laughed becos it was really funny yet heartwarming at the same time, feeling the togetherness and enthusiasm of the crowd. :D
Anyway, have anyone gone for evps 10th anniversary? Care to like tell me bout it? Cos i really wanted to go back if not for the fact that i was helping my senior with her math. From 11am to 4pm going thru only 1 1/4 of a paper!!! Ii duno if im doing a rite thing by helping her cos in my eyes, she doesn't seem to be helping herself. The way she would wait for me to come n sit down in front of her to do her corrections when she had figured it out herself when i was there. So it means that its not that she doesn't noe how to do but ii she dun want to do. How that pisses me off. and the thing that angered me the most was that all she can tell me was that shes dumb to pose off as an excuse for her mistakes but she is not even working to solle it. Imagin this. I told her how to get to the MRT station for it wasn't a difficult route all u had to do was just to turn at ONE point and walk straight throughout. Yet she called me and asked me how to get to amk mrt station so i thought mayb i should teach her as she walked. But wat pissed me off is that she wasn't even listening to the instructions that i was giving her but just simply laughing off her misatakes and keep repeating sry i noe im stupid. The thing is i told her to walk in the direction OPPOSITE the flow of traffic on her side of the road. There was no mistake of my directions. I stressed the word opposite for like 5times but she can still walk in the same direction as the flow of the traffic!!!! I nearly screamed at her thru the phone even though i was in the bus and i noe everyone would start staring. I mean oh god how can one be so dumb as to not bother to listen but to simply repeat that they are stupid when whether stupid or not its not going to make a diff cos the instruction was one that even pri sch kids could understand what's more to say a sec5 student!!! I was so damn angry at her and keep wondering if i should just leave her on her own since she's not showing me that she is worthy of receiving anyones help at all. U all might think that i'm being kinda overboard but wait till u teach her then u will understand how by just simply talking to her u could die. None of my frens like her but i still help her cos i thought she seemed sincre and close or not she is still a fren but she appears to be trying to push my limits. So maybe i shd reconsider my decision of wanting to be a teacher. I doubt i will survive taching a class of ppl if they are going to be like her .:( I duno. Now im pretty messed up, while ppl have decided which exact sch they want to go to, i dun even noe i wanna go to jc or poly......
Write again soon and hopefully some1 might bw able to tell me bout evps 10th anniversary.
